Quality Manager Job Description

  • Drive implementation of Process improvements through Lean/Six Sigma and PDCA
  • Responsible for Project governance including identification, approval of project charters, tracking of project status, effective closure of projects and delivery of targeted financial and metric benefits
  • Periodic reporting to management on improvements achieved.
  • Mentor Process improvement projects to successful closure to achieve targeted improvements and financial benefits
  • Identify and develop end-to-end process transformation opportunities and strategic profit improvement initiatives

Quality Manager Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead new process design (Designing As-is and To-be Process Mapping) and propose alternate business process designs
  • Promote and govern sharing of best practices from other locations/processes to improve process performance
  • Design and Impart Training Operational Excellence Tools (5S, RCA, Lean, six sigma, Standard Work, Continuous Improvement, Tiered Accountability & GEMBA) to BBs, GBs and YBs and others and evaluate training effectiveness
  • Support & guide staff on quality related projects as a part of their career development plans.
  • Lead Tech M efforts towards preparation for quality related audits both internal as well as external
Required Skills for Quality Manager job
  • Graduation (any discipline) with 10-12 years of experience of working in an International/Domestic BPO/KPO
  • Should be open to work 24/7
  • Program management expertise: Managed a Lean SS program and facilitated simultaneous mentoring of greater than 10 projects across multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Project management expertise: Six Sigma Black/Belt Master Black Belt certified with at least 8-10 projects lead individually
  • Program management expertise: Managed a Lean SS program and facilitated simultaneous mentoring of greater than 10 projects across multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Hands on experience in 5S, RCA, Lean, Six sigma, Standard Work, Continuous Improvement, Tiered Accountability & GEMBA
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and deliver rigorous financial and/or statistical analysis to quantify business case scenarios, options and risks
  • Ability to view the issues end-to-end and develop RCA and corrective action plans with tangible results.
  • Expertise to QMS models like ISO 9001/COPC/EFQM/ESCM or any other global QMS model.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills; ability to present ideas and solutions in a logical and articulate manner with the self-confidence to work with Senior Executives
  • Ability to work within challenging environment with tight delivery timelines; Self-motivated Team player and a proven leader
  • Out of the box thinker to develop tools and processes for best utilization of resources.
  • Ability to manage Internal and external clients; Strong conflict management skills.
